Heather Pinkham has everything in her to become a phenomenon. She started out in the United States of America as a singer-songwriter and in the meantime, the pianist, composer and musicologist living in the Netherlands has developed into an original voice in the world of contemporary minimal music. In the Grote Kerk in Schermerhorn, she combines her love of a catchy melody with her preference for recognisable structures in a programme that is devoted to water on the one hand and to the mystical magic of Ludovico Einaudi, Arvo Pärt and Hans Otte on the other. A concert that has everything in it of a resounding dream world.
