Minimal piano piece commission, Multitudes

in January, Heather Pinkham worked on her minimal piano piece commission, which she has just written while doing a month-long residency in Skagastrond, Iceland! The piece was inspired by the Northern Lights as well as the volcanic activity in Iceland, and features two different possible endings of the piece. It will be premiered by Ralph van Raat during the Minimal Music Festival at Orgelpark on October 3, 2026
